[August 12, 2010] Life in a Pocket: the Chinese legend in the U.S.A., a novel based on the life story of the 4A's founder, Mr. Wei Zhang, was published in August 2010. The novel described a survival story of a new Asian immigrant, who never gives up his personal integrity and uses the American legal system to pursue justice.
[August 9, 2010] 4A's volunteer, Ms. Wendy Wang, was honored to be selected as a law clerk for the Honorable Ronald Gould, a circuit judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
[July 18, 2010] The 4A submitted a supporting letter on behalf of an Asian immigrant client, asking the USCIS to grant our client's petition for adjustment of status.

[April 16, 2009] The 4A assisted an Asian immigrant faced with denial of his petition for adjustment of status. On our client's behalf, the 4A staff contacted Office of Congressman Hilda L. Solis of 32nd Congressional District of California, requesting assistance with this case. The Office gave immediate attention to the matter and appointed a bilingual staff member to handle this case.

[June, 2005] Mr. Wei Zhang was recently recognized as a "Workplace Warrior" by NELA. The honor was bestowed on Mr. Wei Zhang during the NELA National Convention in Philadelphia in June, 2005. He was awarded this honor for pouring his heart and finances back into the community. He founded the Asian American Affairs Association (4A), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Asian-Americans in seeking equal opportunity, and to combat discrimination. According to Terisa E. Chaw, Executive Director of The National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), "To my knowledge, this is a first. Most plaintiffs in these employment discrimination cases are invariably quite exhausted and emotionally spent, large award notwithstanding. They just want to get on with their lives. We were quite impressed with Mr. Zhang's passion and thoughtfulness of others, despite his arduous, nearly five year long case to final resolution."
