Mr. Wei Zhang was recently recognized as a "Workplace Warrior" by NELA. The honor was bestowed on Mr. Wei Zhang during the NELA National Convention in Philadelphia in June, 2005. He was awarded this honor for pouring his heart and finances back into the community. He founded the Asian American Affairs Association (4A), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Asian-Americans in seeking equal opportunity, and to combat discrimination.

According to Terisa E. Chaw, Executive Director of The National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), "To my knowledge, this is a first. Most plaintiffs in these employment discrimination cases are invariably quite exhausted and emotionally spent, large award notwithstanding. They just want to get on with their lives. We were quite impressed with Mr. Zhang's passion and thoughtfulness of others, despite his arduous, nearly five year long case to final resolution."

In June 2006,  Mr. Wei Zhang and Executive Director Peterson Zhou attended Seventeenth Annual Convention of National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) in San Francisco, and became Founder Circle Sponsor of NELA’s Washington DC Office.

In August, 2006, NELA President Kathleen L. Bogas confirmed commitment of National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) as working partner of Asian American Affairs Association (4A) in enforcing American Principle “Equal Justice under Law”.

Mr. Wei Zhang was recently awarded “The Finest Asian American Entrepreneur in the Year 2006” by Northwest Asian Weekly.
